Ferran Tort (Change Management Expert, Psychologist and TEDSpeaker) collaborated with Etoile Group in Dubai in a workshop where the team explored diversity, resilience and collective creativity through a street art mural, in partnership with Companies for Good.
The activity took the team out of the store and into a creative space. There, Ferran combined an inspiring talk on resilience, diversity and inclusion with a very concrete practice of growth mindset. The group moved from everyday routines to a shared experience that many participants described as transformative and unifying.
What really happened in the session
The workshop had three clear layers that the participants themselves described in their feedback.
A space away from the store and the usual work environment
A talk where Ferran connected diversity, resilience and inclusion with creativity
A collaborative mural where the team left messages such as “I can” and “I will”
One participant summarised it as an opportunity to step out of the workplace, gather in a vibrant creative space and live a unique CSR session led by Ferran Tort. Another highlighted that it was more than art and that it became a mindset shift that helped the team feel more united.
Diversity, inclusion and the message Purpose beyond business
Etoile Group expressed a clear belief that creativity thrives through inclusion. In their own words, the workshop revealed a shared message at its heart: "Purpose beyond business."
That phrase reflects what the team experienced together. Diversity was not treated as a slogan. It appeared in the room through different backgrounds, roles and perspectives working side by side on the same mural. The result reminded them that collaboration, imagination and purpose can unite very different people as one team.
For Ferran, this connection between diversity and purpose is central to his work with future ready leaders and Psychology and Trainings for Companies. The session in Dubai made it visible in a very concrete way.

Growth Mindset in real time: From I cannot to How can I?
Several participants described a mental shift during the activity.
They spoke about moving from the limiting idea of“I cannot”towards a question that opens possibilities“How can I achieve this”
In the mural, they left powerful affirmations such as “I can” and “I will”. These are more than nice phrases. They are visible reminders of growth mindset in action.
One participant explained that they were not just painting, they were practicing growth mindset in real time. By changing the internal dialogue from “I cannot” to “How can I” they experienced a different way of facing challenges. This is exactly the type of mindset work that supports change management in companies.
Connection with ARTISTLOVE and community based art
The methodology of this workshop is connected with the origins of ARTISTLOVE and its international cooperation projects using community art. In those projects, Ferran uses creativity to build bridges, give voice to different groups and generate collective narratives.
In Dubai, the goal was aligned with that spirit but with a different focus. The objective was not to promote art as a product. The use of a mural and creative tools served a business purpose
Work on diversity and inclusion in a real and emotional way
Train growth mindset as a habit for daily challenges
Strengthen collaboration and team identity
Connect the work of the company with a sense of purpose beyond business
This reframing allows companies in different countries and sectors to understand that creativity can be used as a strategic tool for change management and leadership development, not only as something aesthetic.

The workshop with Etoile Group in Dubai showed how a real team, in a real company, can live change management, diversity and growth mindset in a single experience. The participants stepped out of the store, worked together on a mural, listened to a talk that linked resilience and inclusion and left with a stronger sense of empowerment and unity.
This is the type of work that defines Ferran Tort’s approach as a Change Management expert, psychologist and TEDSpeaker. Using creative methods with clear business focus, he helps organisations move from theory to lived experience so that mindset change becomes visible and practical.
If your company wants to train future ready leaders, strengthen diversity and inclusion and bring growth mindset into change management in a practical way, Ferran Tort can design a customised workshop for your teams.
