Recently the team from Sigma came together at Masía La Tartana in Matadepera for a workshop organised by Limitless Agency. With over 100 participants, the day was structured into two clear phases: first a mindset session focused on growth and change, then a hands-on collaborative creative activity. The goal was simple: embed the belief that change is the constant, and our mindset is the foundation for future-ready leadership.
Why this workshop was timely
Sigma operates in a fast-moving digital environment supporting higher-education institutions. Adapting to change, embracing uncertainty, and learning continuously are non-optional for them. The venue, Masía La Tartana in Matadepera, provided a physical break from the regular workplace and a neutral space for fresh thinking.
Limitless Agency curated the day to reinforce two strategic themes: growth mindset (how we think) and collaborative creation (how we act).
In the first part of the day we centred the discussion on mindset: the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed rather than fixed. This follows the research of Carol Dweck. In her work children were given tasks more difficult than usual. Some children avoided them, interpreting the difficulty as a signal of fixed ability. Others embraced the challenge, seeing it as a path to growth.
We invited Sigma’s team to reflect: in your role, do you say “I’m good at this” (fixed) or “I can improve and learn” (growth)?

We emphasised that change is constant in digital services, and leadership requires a mindset that expects, even seeks, change as opportunity. After the mindset work the team moved outdoors into smaller groups. Each group received materials: templates, neon-colours, keywords drawn from the mindset session. Their task: “Create a visual representation of the insights and energy generated today.”This part had three aims:
Translate mindset into action: by doing something together, teams commit to shared meaning.
Build community: mixing participants in new groups enables fresh links and peer support.
Leave a physical artefact: visual cues act as reminders of the learning.Participants reported that the “doing together” aspect boosted engagement, helped them internalise the learning in a more practical way than a talk alone.
Benefits of this type of activity for companies
Reinforces shared language and mindset around change and growth.
Creates opportunities for cross-team interaction, breaking silos.
Builds momentum for future-ready leadership: mindset plus behaviour.
Generates tangible artefacts to anchor the learning in the workplace.
Enhances team cohesion through shared creative effort rather than passive listening.
Practical recommendations for organisations
Begin with mindset: define the core belief you want teams to carry.
Follow with experience: pair talk with action.
Choose a venue off the usual site to support new thinking (for example Masía La Tartana proved appropriate).
Use small mixed groups to increase interaction and variety of perspectives.
Capture output: visual or artefactual outcomes help maintain focus post-event.
Reinforce afterwards: a single day has impact, but lasting change needs follow-up.
This session with Sigma demonstrated that mindset must be lived through action. A growth mindset is not just a theme—it becomes visible when teams create together, commit together and leave with something concrete to remember it by. For companies committed to building future-ready leaders and resilient teams, this blend of psychological theory and collaborative experience offers real value.
